According to a report by TMZ, the incident occurred earlier this month, with an estimated $500,000 worth of jewelry stolen from the striker's home.

The report, citing law enforcement sources, stated that Giroud's wife discovered the break-in on February 5. She noticed a shattered window and later reported the theft of multiple valuables, including over 10 high-end men's watches. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is currently investigating the case, but no arrests have been made so far.

Giroud, 38, is one of the most accomplished French strikers of his generation. A former Arsenal, Chelsea, and AC Milan forward, he played a crucial role in France's victorious 2018 FIFA World Cup campaign.
