The Football event of the Paris Olympics 2024 has reached its penultimate phase as four men's teams have qualified for the semifinals.

After an enthralling quarter-final phase on Friday (August 2), the semifinal and final will be taking place on August 5 and August 9 respectively. The Bronze medal match will be on August 8.

Olympics 2024 Football - Qualified Teams for Semifinal and Quarterfinal Results

France, Morocco, Egypt and Spain are the four teams who have qualified for the semifinals.

Morocco decimated USA 4-0 to advanced to the semis. Spain were dominant again and beat Japan 3-0, while Egypt won in penalties against Paraguay after a 1-1 scoreline in 120 minutes. Hosts France toppled Argentina 1-0 to book their berth in the semis.

Morocco will be taking on their cross-continent neighbours Spain in the first semifinal. France will be up against Egypt in the other semifinal. This is the first time in Olympics history that two African teams have qualified for the semis.
