Finalists for the Oriental Cup 2025 were confirmed on Monday (July 28), with Sanskriti School and Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Faridabad, advancing to the girls' final.
The Mother’s International School (MIS) secured a spot in the boys' final against DPS RK Puram. The finals will be held at Dr. Ambedkar Stadium, with Olympian Zafar Iqbal as the Chief Guest.
Govt. Girls Sr. Sec. School, Faridabad dominated their last Group B match, defeating St. Francis De Sales Sr. Sec. School 4-0. Ishu scored first, followed by Nidhi's hat-trick, ensuring their place in the final.
Sanskriti School maintained their unbeaten streak in Group A by beating Amity International School, Noida 3-0. Aditi Chamoli scored twice and Amina Abdali added another goal, bringing her tournament total to ten goals.
The boys' Group A match between The Mother’s International School and Amity International School ended in a goalless draw. MIS goalkeeper Amogh Shandilya made crucial saves to secure the point needed for the final against DPS RK Puram from Group B.
Navy Children School and New Green Field School also drew 0-0 in their Group B match, leaving group standings unchanged as the league stage concluded.
The finals are scheduled for July 29, 2025, at Dr. Ambedkar Stadium. In the girls' final, two-time champions Sanskriti School will face Govt. Girls Sr. Sec. School, Faridabad. In the boys' category, MIS will challenge DPS RK Puram.
