Dembele's remarkable achievement made him the first player in PSG's history to score hat-tricks in consecutive competitive matches. The former Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund forward has now netted 14 league goals this season, marking his highest tally in a single campaign. Since January, he has scored 11 times across all competitions.

Luis Enrique further commented on the match dynamics: "It was a match between two Champions League teams. And I think it was difficult; it's always difficult to play against Brest." He acknowledged areas for improvement but expressed contentment with PSG's gameplay.
