In the upcoming 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, Palmeiras will participate for the third time in this prestigious tournament. With the new extended format of 32 teams, the tournament is set to take place in the United States from June 14 to July 13.

The Brazilian side will enter the 2025 Club World Cup as the winner of 2021 Copa Libertadores. They will be joined by another five clubs from the region, among them three are also from Brazil.

It will be the third appearance in this tournament for the Brazilian side after 2020 and 2021. In 2020, they reached the semi-finals but were defeated by Tigres UANL and subsequently lost the third-place match to Al Ahly. In 2021, they improved their performance, reaching the final but narrowly lost 2-1 to Chelsea after extra time.
