Brazil will be up against Paraguay in an important Copa America 2024 clash on Friday (June 28).

Selecao had a stuttering start to their campaign in Copa America as they only managed a goalless draw in the first match against Costa Rica. After dropping points in the previous match, it is imperative for Brazil to get all three points in this clash.

Coach Dorival Junior was displeased with the performance of his team. He was not happy with the lack of finishing and asserted the importance of improvement in the upcoming matches.

"We lacked some in-depth moves. It was the aspect that we intensified the most in training, this dirty work to find space between the opposing lines. We played closely, we created good chances, but we weren't happy with the finishing. The games will be like this, we have to find ways to improve," the Brazil coach said after the match.

And as they take on Paraguay in Las Vegas, a few changes are expected in the starting lineup for Brazil. Young Savio had a fantastic outing after coming on as a substitute in the last match and he may be given the nod ahead of Raphinha for this clash. Joao Gomes looks set to be benched for this match as Douglas Luiz is going to start for the Selecao. Vinicius Jr. Didn't have the best match either but he is certain to keep his place.
