Spain has clinched the Gold medal in the Olympics 2024 after beating France on Friday (August 9).
The Spaniards secured a fantastic 5-3 win at the Parc des Princes to win their second-ever Gold in men's football at the Olympics, the first in 32 years.

The packed stadium at the French capital was in full voice for the hosts, but it was Spain who stood tall against Les Bleus.
The match started in superb fashion for France, as Enzo Millot opened the scoring in the 11th minute. But Fermin Lopez found the equalizer in the 18th minute, silencing the crowd. The Barcelona man then doubled the lead for La Furia Roja seven minutes after that. Villarreal midfielder Alex Baena then extended Spain's lead in the 28th minute. The teams went into the break with Spain leading 3-1 against France.
After the break, France came back with purpose and created chances, but failed to convert their chances. Jean-Philippe Mateta squandered a good opportunity for Les Blues, while Pablo Barrios also squandered a huge chance for Spain to seal the fate. Maghnes Akliouche reduced the deficit for the hosts 11 minutes from time. Mateta then scored in the 93rd minute from the spot to equalize for France, taking the match to Extra Time.
But in the extra time, Sergio Camello scored a brace to secure Spain's win. He scored the first in the 100th minute, and then sealed the win in the 121st minute to win the Gold for Spain.
Earlier, Morocco secured a mammoth 6-0 victory over Egypt to secure the Bronze medal. With the medal, they became only the 4th African nation to win a medal in men's football at the Olympics after Nigeria, Ghana and Cameroon.
