Bengaluru, August 13: Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has stated that the Red Devils hope to win every available competition this season ahead of their Premier League opener against West Ham United today (August 13).

The Frenchman landed at Old Trafford for a world record fee of £89million last Summer after having enjoyed a fruitful career at Juventus where he won four successive Serie A titles and was named in the FIFA World XI twice.

And since his move to United, he also established himself as an indispensable part of Manchester United's last season's glory as helped his team to three titles, Community Shield, the League Cup and Europa League respectively.

Pogba also scored the opening goal against Ajax in Stockholm in the final and took his team into the final round of Champions League football.

However, Manchester United's league campaign last season was a big flop as they only managed a 6th place finish in the Premier League and made an early exit from the FA Cup.

While, the midfielder now reveals that the group now want to win it this season and want to win every possible trophy they can secure.

"What's a good season? Winning everything! We are Manchester United and we want to get back to being the big Manchester United," he told Sky Sports.

"We want to win more trophies and do better in the Premier League and we're obviously happy to be back in the Champions League. We're here to do great things."

Pogba also showed leadership qualities last season on field and in the interview he also talked about his leadership qualities insisting that he always used to inspire people and this was nothing new to him.

"Do I have to be more of a leader? No, I'm just myself. I'm the same, talking, encouraging players. I'm 24 now but when you are on the pitch there is no age."

"When I was young I was doing the same. A good season for me? Winning everything! A player has a great season when the team does great. That's it."
