PSV's Ricardo Pepi Scores Dramatic Stoppage-Time Equaliser Against Olympiacos

In a thrilling Champions League match, Ricardo Pepi scored a last-minute equaliser for PSV against Olympiacos. Despite an early setback, Pepi's goal ensured PSV earned a crucial point.

Ricardo Pepi's dramatic 93rd-minute goal secured a draw for PSV against Olympiacos in the Champions League. Earlier, PSV had a goal disallowed due to an offside call on Ismael Saibari. Olympiacos took the lead shortly after, with Gelson Martins scoring from a Chiquinho pass. Despite several missed opportunities, Pepi's late equaliser ensured PSV left with a point.

Monaco managed a narrow 1-0 win over Bodo/Glimt at Aspmyra Stadion. Folarin Balogun scored the decisive goal just before half-time, capitalising on Maghnes Akliouche's assist. Bodo/Glimt came close to equalising but were thwarted by the woodwork and later reduced to ten men when Jostein Gundersen received a red card for a reckless tackle.

Pepi's Late Equaliser Secures Point for PSV

In the current Champions League standings, PSV holds the 17th position, while Monaco is right behind them in 18th place. Olympiacos and Bodo/Glimt are yet to secure a win, sitting in 31st and 27th positions respectively.

Gelson Martins almost doubled his tally after the break but was denied by the crossbar. Paul Wanner also missed a significant chance for PSV, sending his shot wide. Olympiacos continued pressing for another goal as Martins shot wide again before Pepi's last-minute heroics.

Pepi's knack for late goals continues to shine in the Champions League. His recent strike ties him with Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Aguero for scoring three result-changing goals in second-half stoppage time in the competition’s history. Meanwhile, Martins' goal marked only his second in the Champions League since 2017.

Bodo/Glimt responded quickly after Monaco's opener, with Kasper Hogh hitting the post just before half-time. Despite creating better chances in the second half, they couldn't find an equaliser and faced further setbacks with Gundersen's dismissal following a VAR review.
