Manchester City star Phil Foden won the Professional Footballers' Association Players' Player of the Year award, while Chelsea's Cole Palmer bagged the young player of the year award at the PFA's 51st anniversary awards event in Salford.
Two-time Young Player winner Foden scored a career-high 19 league goals along with eight assists over the course of the league campaign and was also a standout in Europe, finishing City's Champions League campaign with five goals and three assists in only eight appearances.

Foden, who had already been announced as the Premier League Player of the Season and the FWA Footballer of the Year, beat off teammates Erling Haaland and Rodri to clinch the title, with Arsenal's Martin Odegaard, Chelsea's Palmer and Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins making up the Top 6.
Palmer claimed the prize following an exceptional season for Chelsea, scoring 22 goals and assisted 11 others in the Premier League over the 2023/24 campaign, with only Erling Haaland netting more times than the England international.
Meanwhile, Manchester City and Jamaica star Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw and Tottenham's Grace Clinton were named the PFA Players' Women's Player of the Year and PFA Players' Young Player of the year respectively in the awards voted for by their peers.
Also MK Dons defender Dean Lewington, picked up the men's PFA Merit award, while England legend Fara Williams, who ended her career as the most capped England player in history, making 177 appearances and scoring 40 goals for the Lionesses over an 18-year period, received the women's Merit award.
