Bengaluru, Dec 5: English Premier League (EPL) game week witnessed some mouth-watering football actions as all the giants of the league were in action.

Chelsea FC locked horns with Manchester City in the headlining match of the game week. The Blues thrashed the Cityzens 3-1 to remain at the top of the league table. City goes down the pecking order to 4th place.

Gary Cahill's own goal had given City the lead in the first half. But Antonio Conte's Chelsea came back strongly in the second half scoring three goals to seal the victory. It was their eighth win on the trot.

In another match on Saturday, December 3, giants Arsenal ran riot against city rivals West Ham United as they won the game 5-1 all thanks to a splendid hat-trick from Alexis Sanchez.

Mesut Ozil and Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain were the other two goal scorers for the Gunners. The win helps Arsene Wenger's side to reach the second place 3 points behind leaders Chelsea.

On Sunday, December 4, Liverpool took on AFC Bournemouth in the first match of the day. After convincingly dominating the match for 75 minutes, Bournemouth made a terrific comeback and eventually won the game 4-3. It was a shock defeat for Jurgen Klopp's men/

In the last match of the night, Manchester United yet again were held to a disappointing draw by Everton. Leighton Baines scored the important goal for Everton at the last moment from the penalty spot canceling out Zlatan Ibrahimovic's first-half goal.

AFC Bournemouth shocked giants Liverpool FC as they beat them 4-3 last night. After leading and dominating the game for 75 minutes, Liverpool conceded 3 quick goals to embrace defeat.

Everton 1-1 Manchester United

Everton snatched crucial one point from the grasp of Manchester United as Leighton Baines scored a late equaliser from the penalty spot canceling out Zlatan Ibrahimovic's first-half strike.
