Bengaluru, Mar 13: The most shocking result of the I-League game week 14 was Chennai City FC beating giants and title contenders East Bengal at Chennai.

Chennai City pulled off the unthinkable as they stunned East Bengal 2-1 at their home. The defeat shocked the Red and Gold who received a major jolt in the journey to the apex.

East Bengal took the lead in the first half which canceled out after the lemon break. Rehenesh TP did a blunder in front of the goal to concede the goal.

The away side threw away multiple chances to score the winner and got penalised when Chennai scored yet another in the dying moments of the match to register a memorable win.

In the headlining match of the game week, rivals Bengaluru FC and Mohun Bagan locked horns. The Green and Maroon, who are still very much in the title race where yet again held for a draw by Bengaluru.

The match ended in a goalless draw with a little pinch of controversy. Katsumi Yusa's strike was ruled out which infuriated the Bagan fans.

League leaders Aizawl FC blew away 2 goals lead against Minerva Punjab FC as the match ended in a 2-2 draw.
