Kolkata, Dec 11: Atletico de Kolkata moved an inch closer to the Indian Super League 3 final as they defeated Mumbai City FC 3-2 at Kolkata last night, December 20.

Lalrindika Ralte scored the opening goal of the match in the 3rd minute. Leo Costa equalised for Mumbai within 7 minutes.

Gerson Vieira gave Mumbai the lead in the 19th minute. Iain Hume stood up to the occasion and equalised for Kolkata in 38th minute with a stunning strike.

At the stroke of half time, Helder Postiga was brought inside Mumbai's penalty box and Hume netted his second and earned the lead for the home side.

Drama unfolded at the end when Mumbai City FC's marquee player Diego Forlan was sent-off with a direct red card for a clumsy challenge.
