Anil Chawan, born on 27 April 1999, is a professional Defender from India. Wearing jersey number 17, and has been an important part of the squad with his consistent performances. He has consistently contributed with strong performances throughout his career.
The defender was a prominent figure at the Goa-based SESA Football Academy, leading them to promotion to the Goa Professional League thanks to a string of staggering displays in the GFA First Division. He scored twice and assisted five times in 12 league matches. He joined ATK FC’s youth team in 2019, and played with the reserve side in the Hero I-League second division, making eight appearances. Anil Chawan will move to SC East Bengal ahead of the 2020-21 Hero ISL season.
