Ankit Mukherjee, born on 10 July 1996, is a professional Defender from India. Wearing jersey number 19, and has been an important part of the squad with his consistent performances. He has consistently contributed with strong performances throughout his career.
After kicking off his youth career at East Bengal, Ankit Mukherjee featured for Kolkata-based clubs like Aryan FC and Mohammedan SC before joining ATK FC ahead of the 2018-19 Hero ISL season. The young right back made his Hero ISL debut against FC Pune City and went on to make 10 appearances for the side over the course of two seasons. He joined SC East Bengal from ATK Mohun Bagan in the January transfer window of the 2020-21 and has been an intergral member of the unit following the move.
