Lalengmawia Ralte, born on 17 October 2000, is a professional Midfielder from India. Wearing jersey number 45, and has been an important part of the squad with his consistent performances. He has consistently contributed with strong performances throughout his career.
Mizoram-born Lalengmawia, fondly known as Apuia, started playing football from a very young age. In 2017, he became the only player from his state to make it to India's squad for the FIFA U-17 World Cup. He made 11 appearances for Indian Arrows in Hero I-League 2018-19 and also scored a goal. The Hero ISL 2019-20 season saw him turn up in the NorthEast United FC jersey and he did'nt take long to establish himself as a starter, commanding a strong passing accuracy of 80.45% in 10 matches. Retained for the 2020-21 Hero ISL, Lalengmawia's stock rose further as he went on to win the Emerging-Player-of-the-Season award. However, in a surprise move, he joined defending champions Mumbai City FC ahead of the 2021-22 season.
