Leander D'Cunha, born on 25 October 1997, is a professional Defender from India. Wearing jersey number 6, and has been an important part of the squad with his consistent performances. He has consistently contributed with strong performances throughout his career.
Leander D’Cunha began his football career at the SESA Football Academy and joined Churchill Brothers before being signed by FC Goa in 2017. During his time with the Gaurs’ developmental team, he lifted the Goa Professional League trophy in 2018-19 before leading them to triumph in the Police Cup at the beginning of the 2019-20 season. Leander made his debut with the first team in Hero ISL 2020-21 and later also featured in the AFC Champions League.
