Ninthoi had a formidable Hero ISL debut with NorthEast United FC in 2019-20, making 11 appearances and averaging 18.64 passes per game. Retained ahead of the 2020-21 season, he played 13 matches in the Highlanders’ run to the semi-finals. He joined two-time champions Chennaiyin FC ahead of the 2021-22 Hero ISL.
