Ninthoinganba Meetei, born on 13 July 2001, is a professional Forward from India. Wearing jersey number 44, and has been an important part of the squad with his consistent performances. He has consistently contributed with strong performances throughout his career.
Ninthoinganba Meetei, fondly known as Ninthoi, was signed by NorthEast United FC following a terrific 2018-19 campaign for Indian Arrows. Ninthoi was also part of the Arrows’ Hero Super Cup squad in 2019 and played both matches. He rose to prominence after selection in India U-17 squad for the 2017 FIFA World Cup. Ninthoi had a formidable Hero ISL debut with NorthEast United FC in 2019-20, making 11 appearances and averaging 18.64 passes per game. Retained ahead of the 2020-21 season, he played 13 matches in the Highlanders’ run to the semi-finals. He joined two-time champions Chennaiyin FC ahead of the 2021-22 Hero ISL.
