Shubham Sarangi, born on 24 June 2000, is a professional Defender from India. Wearing jersey number 24, and has been an important part of the squad with his consistent performances. He has consistently contributed with strong performances throughout his career.
Shubham Sarangi’s big break came when he appeared for trials for the Delhi team in the U-14 National Championships. After impressing at the Nationals in Kalyani, he was promptly picked by the AIFF Elite Academy. He attended the preparatory camp before the U-17 FIFA World Cup but sadly couldn’t make the cut. However, his talents didn’t go unnoticed as he was signed by Delhi Dynamos FC for the Hero ISL 2018-19. After making nine appearances during the 2018-19 season, Shubham made 17 appearances for Odisha FC in 2019-20, establishing himself as an integral member of the starting line-up and earning himself a contract extension. He played 14 games in Hero 2020-21 in what was a disappointing campaign for Odisha FC.
