Stephen Eze, born on 08 March 1994, is a professional Defender from Nigeria. Wearing jersey number 6, and has been an important part of the squad with his consistent performances. He has consistently contributed with strong performances throughout his career.
Stephen Eze began his career in the youth ranks of Lobi Stars FC in Nigeria in 2012 and got promoted to their senior team in 2014. After a stint with Sunshine Stars, he won the Nigerian Super Cup with Ifeanyi Ubah in 2017. After a brief stint with Kano Pillars, Stephen sealed a move to Europe, joining Bulgarian side Lokomotiv Plovdiv. During his three seasons with the club, Stephen won the Bulgarian Cup during the 2018-19 season and even represented them in UEFA Europa League 2019-20. After finishing as a runner-up with Plovdiv in 2019-20, Stephen joined Jamshedpur FC ahead of the 2020-21 Hero ISL season. He appeared in all the matches for Jamshedpur FC, and even scored four times for his team.
