Poland’s head coach Michal Probierz has officially unveiled a 29-man provisional squad for the upcoming Euro 2024 although only 26 of them will be included in the team's final bid for the European Championship 2024.
Robert Lewandowski continues to be the heart and soul of the Polish national team. The Barcelona striker, who boasts the most appearances (148) and goals (82) in Poland’s history, is likely to lead his team with the same tenacity and skill that has defined his career for the final time.

Alongside Lewandowski, Juventus’ Arkadiusz Milik and former AC Milan star Krzysztof Piatek are expected to bolster Poland's attack.
In goal, Wojciech Szczesny, another Juventus and Polish stalwart has been named. Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior will be another key figure, expected to bring solidity and composure to the defensive unit.
The midfield will likely benefit heavily from the addition of Piotr Zielinski, Sebastian Szymanski, and Jakub Moder to name a few.
Poland’s journey to Euro 2024 was anything but smooth. The team struggled in the qualifiers, securing just three wins out of eight games and finishing third in Group E, behind Albania and the Czech Republic.
Their ticket to Germany was pushed by a dramatic play-off victory against Wales, secured by a tense penalty shoot-out.
To improve their preparations, Poland will play friendlies against Ukraine and Turkey. These matches will be crucial for Probierz to finalize his squad and tactics.
In the group stage of Euro 2024, Poland will face a formidable challenge in Group D playing the Netherlands on June 15 in Hamburg, Austria on June 21 in Berlin, and France on June 25 in Dortmund.
