Bengaluru, July 31: Paulo Wanchope, one of the few Costa Ricans to excel in Premier League turned 41 on Monday (July 31).
The second-most goal scorer for Costa Rica, Wanchope plied his trade with many Premier League clubs including Derby County, Manchester City and West Ham United.

After his playing career was over, he coached the Costa Rica national team.
Hailing from a family of footballers, Wanchope is the son of former Costa Rican striker Vicente Wanchope. Both his brothers, Javier and Carlos also played for the national team.
Premier League paid tributes to him on his birthday, by tweeting a video of his playing days.
