The first-ever Premier League Summer Series heads to USA and will kick off on Saturday (July 22) with six teams from the English top flight battling in friendly matches as part of their pre-season schedule across five East Coast cities.
Chelsea, Aston Villa, Brighton & Hove Albion, Brentford, Fulham and Newcastle United will be the clubs competing in the inaugural Premier League Summer Series 2023 in USA.
Each team will play three matches and not face the same opponents twice. Although not officially announced, the winner of the tournament may be crowned based on the position on the points table. As per the schedule release, there is no playoff or final match.
Where will the Premier League Summer Series 2023 matches take place?
The nine matches will take place at five venues in the US East Coast: Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia; Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta; Exploria Stadium, Orlando; Red Bull Arena, New Jersey; FedExField, Landover, Maryland.
When does the Premier League Summer Series 2023 start and end?
The Premier League Summer Series 2023 will start on Saturday (July 22) and end on Sunday (July 30). In India, however, due to time difference the tournament will start on Sunday (July 23) morning and end on Monday (July 31) morning.
What time do Premier League Summer Series matches kick off?
The matches kick off at different times with three of them scheduled for a 7 PM ET start. The other six start times are 12 PM ET, 2:45 PM ET, 4 PM ET, 5:30 PM ET, 7:30 PM ET and 8:15 PM ET.
How to watch the Premier League Summer Series 2023 in India, UK and USA?
The live telecast of the matches will be available on Star Sports Network in India, while Sky Sports will show the matches in UK and NBC Sports will broadcast the matches in the United States. In India, fans can live stream the matches via Disney+ Hotstar.
