Tottenham host London rivals Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday (February 26) in a crucial tie.
Both Tottenham and Chelsea have had a topsy-turvy season thus far, with the latter struggling even more in the current season. Tottenham sit 4th in the Premier League table, while the Blues are currently placed in the 10th position and find themselves equally distant from the top four and relegation points.
Spurs managed a 2-0 win over another London rivals West Ham last week, and will be hoping to continue their momentum to cement a place within the top four. Chelsea, on the other hand, are in deeper trouble and find themselves without a win in five matches across all competitions. They lost their home match against bottom club Southampton last week and need a turn of fortunes.
Tottenham and Chelsea played out an entertaining 2-2 draw in the reverse fixture earlier this season. Kalidou Koulibaly and Reece James scored for the Blues as Pierre Emile Hojbjerg and Harry Kane scored a piece to salvage a point at Stamford Bridge for Spurs.
These two clubs have met 156 times across all competitions. Chelsea have won 70 times while Tottenham have prevailed 47 times, with 39 times the game has ended in a stalemate.
