Bengaluru, December 14: German Under-21 international star Nadiem Amiri is being tracked by Premier League giants Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
The Hoffenheim midfielder has caught the eye of the Premier League trio as he is enjoying a pretty good season with the Die Kraichgauer and all three clubs are said to be weighing up a £20million bid to land the 21-year-old in the January transfer window.
Amiri, whose parents are from Afghanistan, still has two full seasons left on his Hoffenheim deal and might face a big dilemma if his club accepts any of the offers from the three Premier League giants.
The best thing for his developement will be to stay put at Hoffenheim but at the same time, he will be surely tempted to move to the Premier League.
The youngster came off the bench for the German U-21s in their win against Spain at the Euros final this year — after helping beat England in the semi-finals and the attacking midfielder has been impressive in Bundesliga this season with four goals to his name.
Manchester United are in the market for a new midfielder to add a spark of creativity to their side. Mourinho's side are too much dependant on Paul Pogba and therefore, Mourinho wants someone who can unlock defences with his passing and Amiri is very much that kind of player.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan wants showdown talks with Mourinho over his future. The Armenian midfielder has been out of the Red Devils’ starting line-up recently and has not started a game since the 1-0 loss at Stamford Bridge.
Meanwhile, Spurs boss Pochettino wants more depth in his attack and wants Amiri to contend with the likes of Eriksen, Alli and Son to compete on all fronts. Arsenal, meanwhile, are looking for a successor of Mesut Ozil and have identified Amiri as a perfect candidate.
