Premier League title is now in Chelsea's hands: Ferguson

London, Apr 4 (ANI): Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has said that the fate of the English Premier League title is now in Chelsea's hands after his side's 2-1 defeat against the Blues.

"Chelsea are favourites now, there is no question about that. Five games left and they are two points ahead and four goals better off on goal to the summit difference. They are in the driving seat, there is no doubt about that," Ferguson said.

"I am certain that we can respond but we could win our next five games and not win the league. If Chelsea wins their next five games they have won the league," the Daily Express quoted him, as saying

Ferguson believes that Chelsea received a helping hand towards the summit through referee Mike Dean and linesman Simon Beck.

The United manager insisted: Didier Drogba was offside for his goal. With a game of this magnitude you need quality officials. We didn't get them I'm afraid. It was a poor, poor performance.

"That is twice we have lost out to refereeing decisions against Chelsea this season." (ANI)
