Yet another time, Paris Saint-Germain's European campaign have come to a premature and disappointing end.

The French giants have invested plenty of cash to bolster their squad over the years in order to fire them to Champions League glory but they have not been able to get anywhere close to the elusive piece of silverware yet. In 2020, they made it all the way to the final but otherwise, they have largely flattered to deceive in Europe.

PSG have suffered a 3-0 aggregate loss against Bayern Munich in the Round of 16 to end their Champions League 2022-23 campaign on a disappointing note. This could act as a major turning point for the club as they could lose several of their star players now. Kylian Mbappe

PSG managed to retain Kylian Mbappe for so long now and most dramatically tied him down with a new deal in 2021 to keep him at the club until 2024. Mbappe looked set to join Real Madrid on a free transfer but was retained by PSG. However, they could potentially end up losing the French superstar this summer with his deal expiring in another 12 months' time.

Lionel Messi

Lionel Messi has his current deal expiring this summer and is yet to commit his future at the Parc des Princes. It has been reported that he could sign a new deal but talks have not progressed well so far. Now that PSG's Champions League campaign has ended in failure, the World Cup winner could be on his way out.

Neymar

World record signing Neymar was brought in by PSG in 2017 with massive hopes but the Brazilian has not quite been able to entirely live up to his massive price tag. It has been reported that PSG could be willing to part ways with the Brazilian superstar this summer and look to reinforce their squad.
