Paris, Dec 19: French cash-rich club Paris Saint-Germain have targetted Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho and Cristiano Ronaldo, according to club chief Sheikh Bin Abdul Rahman Al-Thani.
"Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho are objectives for Paris Saint-Germain, of course. PSG are one of the best clubs in the world. Ever since day one, our goal has been to win the Champions League," Al-Thani told Canal Football.
Backed by PSG's billionaire owner Sheikh Nasser Al Khelaifi, the French giants are ready to take the Madrid duo to Paris. Despite the Financial Fair Play regulations, the club are willing to spend around £100 million on Ronaldo itself.
A few months ago, Ronaldo, 27, had revealed that he is unhappy with Real over their contract offer. The Portuguese superstar also wants to be the first player to earn £400,000-a-week.
Meanwhile, Mourinho has already given up the La Liga title to rivals Barcelona and his relationship with club president Fiorentino Perez has been deteriorating.
PSG are one of the few clubs that can meet Ronaldo's wage demands. The French giants spent nearly £100 million on the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Thiago Silva and Javier Pastore.
"We are already one of the best teams in France and it's our goal to become one of the best in Europe and the world, too," Al-Thani said.
