Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan will face each other in the final of the UEFA Champions League 2024-25 at Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany, on Saturday, May 31.
Luis Enrique’s side have reached their second final in their history, eliminating three Premier League clubs in three consecutive rounds. After overcoming Arsenal in the semi-finals, PSG are one win from their first European crown and quadruple success.

Inter Milan are into their second final in three seasons, having beaten Barcelona in the semi-final. Recently Inter lost the final of Coppa Italia against Milan and the chance to win Serie A to Napoli on the final day. It will be the final chance for them to win silverware and get over the 1-0 loss against Man City in the same fixture just two seasons ago.
The French champions entered the final with a nearly fully fit squad, giving them a significant advantage. Hence, it will allow Luis Enrique to field the strongest lineup.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia missed the recent Coupe de France final due to a migraine. However, reports confirm he has returned to training and is expected to be available for the final.
Ousmane Dembele, the Ligue 1 player of the season, has overcome a recent hamstring injury sustained during the first leg of the semi-final against Arsenal. He returned to training earlier this month and is confirmed to be available for the final.
Presnel Kimpembe also has been battling a long-term Achilles tendon issue, which caused him to miss the Coupe de France final. Recent updates indicate he is back in the squad for the Champions League final, though he is unlikely to start given the depth in PSG’s defence, including players like Marquinhos, Nuno Mendes and Willian Pacho.
Inter Milan, led by Simone Inzaghi, are facing some injury challenges but received positive news as some key players are set to return to the squad.
Benjamin Pavard, the French international defender, a key part of Inter’s back three, suffered an ankle injury in late March, causing him to miss the semi-final second leg against Barcelona. According to recent reports, Pavard has fully recovered and participated in training sessions.
Yann Bisseck is reportedly struggling with a knee injury sustained during Inter’s final Serie A match against Como and will be doubtful for the final. Piotr Zielinski will also be doubtful for the final if he is likely available, though he may not be a guaranteed starter. Valentin Carboni will also miss the match due to a ligament injury.
For PSG, manager Luis Enrique is expected to field a 4-3-3 formation. Gianluigi Donnarumma will start in goal, with a back four comprising Achraf Hakimi, Marquinhos, William Pacho and Nuno Mendes. The midfield trio is likely to be Vitinha, Fabian Ruiz and Joao Neves. In attack, Ousmane Dembele and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia are expected to flank either Desire Doue or Bradley Barcola, who are competing for the final spot in the front three.
Inter Milan, under coach Simone Inzaghi, is anticipated to deploy a 3-5-2 formation. Yann Sommer will guard the goal, with a defensive trio of Benjamin Pavard, Francesco Acerbi and Alessandro Bastoni. Wing-backs Denzel Dumfries and Federico Dimarco will provide width, while the midfield is set to feature Nicolo Barella, Hakan Calhanoglu and Henrikh Mkhitaryan. At forward, Lautaro Martinez is expected to partner with Marcus Thuram.
