Arsenal are set to resume their UEFA Champions League journey with an away trip to PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday (March 4).
The Gunners are set to face the Dutch club in the 1st leg of the Round of 16 stage. PSV managed to win their playoff clash against Juventus while Arsenal qualified directly for the last 16 after finishing in the top eight during group stages.

Mikel Arteta will be desperate to turn up with their best self in the Champions League. With the Premier League hopes diminishing very fast, the Gunners have the Champions League as the solitary way of a silverware. With a tricky away fixture, it will be imperative for Arsenal to get a positive result in the match. PSV have already slayed Juventus in the UCL and will be full of belief against the shaky North London club. Although the Dutch club has a strong hold at home, they will have to be at their best to thwart the Gunners.
Fixture: Round of 16, 1st Leg
Date: Tuesday, March 4
Kickoff Time: 8 pm GMT/ 1:30 am IST (early hours of Wednesday)
Venue: Philips Stadion, Eindhoven (Netherlands)
PSV will be without key attacking options for this fixture. Ricardo Pepi has suffered a serious knee injury that will sideline him for the rest of the season, while Malik Tillman is also facing a long-term absence due to an ankle issue.
Additionally, new signing Lucas Pérez, who joined on a free transfer until the end of the season, will not be available for Champions League action as he was signed after the registration deadline.
Luuk de Jong is expected to lead the attack. The captain and last season's top scorer is set to make his 50th appearance in the competition, joining an elite group of Dutch strikers that includes Robin van Persie, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Patrick Kluivert, and Roy Makaay.
At the back, Mauro Junior has been dealing with a bruised bone, making his availability uncertain. To strengthen their left-back options, PSV brought in Tyrell Malacia on loan from Manchester United. The 25-year-old has started the last two matches in the role and is likely to continue.
Arsenal's frontline has been hit hard by injuries. Kai Havertz has been ruled out for the rest of the season, while Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli are also sidelined with hamstring issues. Although both wingers are expected to return in the coming weeks, they will not feature in this match as Mikel Arteta reshapes his attacking setup.
In defense, Ben White has returned from knee surgery but has only made brief substitute appearances so far. Jurrien Timber is expected to retain his place at right-back while Tomiyasu remains unavailable. Myles Lewis-Skelly looks set to return to the left-back position.
Up front, Mikel Merino is poised to play as the centre forward, whereas Leandro Trossard is also poised for the role.

Arsenal Wins: 3

PSV Wins: 1
In the last meeting in UCL 2023-24 season, these two teams played out a 1-1 stalemate in the Netherlands. At the Emirates, Arsenal secured a thumping 4-0 victory.
Both teams have found wins difficult in the recent weeks but PSV's solitary victory came against Juventus which propelled them to the Round of 16. Arsenal have failed to win their last two matches in the league and would be desperate for a turnaround.
