The Indian Super League 2023-24 Round 6 matchup between Punjab FC and Mumbai City FC, the defending ISL winners, will take place here at the Mumbai Football Arena tomorrow. The game is set to begin at 8:00 p.m.

Before the match, PFC Head Coach Staikos Vergetis made the following statement: "I think that in football, the difference between home and away games is not as great as it used to be." We love playing football in front of the crowd and the excitement of away games.

Of course, it's not quite the same as a home game, but the difference isn't that great. Things did not go well for us in the last game. We gave up goals and missed opportunities at critical times. There were a lot of unpleasant memories from that game, but we do want to compete more.

We expect to achieve favourable outcomes by performing effectively against a competitive opponent tomorrow. The game tomorrow will be slightly different in accordance with our plan. They shouldn't be interpreted as a critique of any player's performance, though.

During the pre-game press conference, PFC goalkeeper Ravi Kumar stated, "I personally think that as a team, we didn't do well in the last match and the squad is aware of it. In the upcoming match against my old club, Mumbai City FC, I feel that we will do our best and give our best.

My team's younger players are all here because they won the I-League, and certainly, it will take them some time to get used to the ISL. However, the team is in fantastic shape, and I think they will perform well against Mumbai City FC tomorrow.

Mumbai City FC is in fifth place with eight points from four games, while Punjab FC is ranked eleventh with two points from five games.
