Philippe Clement acknowledges that Rabbi Matondo might still leave Rangers before the transfer window closes, despite his impressive performance in the 6-0 victory over Ross County. The Welsh winger has drawn interest from Leeds United and Blackburn Rovers recently, but no move has been finalised.
Matondo's potential departure comes after a stellar display at Hampden Park, where he scored twice and assisted two more goals. Rangers have been playing their home games there while Ibrox undergoes redevelopment. Speaking about Matondo's future, Clement told BBC Sport: "There are a lot of rumours [linking him away]. We cannot say no to everything, we'll see this week. For the moment, Rabbi will be here with us next week. That's what I want also. But if someone comes with enough money, the club will always be open for talks."

Cyriel Dessers also found the net twice against Ross County, with Tom Lawrence and Danilo adding to the scoreline. This emphatic win serves as a strong preparation for Rangers ahead of their upcoming Old Firm derby against Celtic.
Dessers has often faced criticism at the club, but Clement believes the Nigerian international is currently playing his best football. "He deserves it, he is doing a very good job," Clement said on the club's official website. "This is the best Cyriel that I have seen in his career until now and he is somebody who is hungry to play for his shirt and someone who is also hungry to learn to become better."
The comprehensive victory propelled Rangers to the top of the Premiership table after three games. However, Celtic and Aberdeen have opportunities to overtake them as they face St Mirren and Kilmarnock respectively on Sunday.
Clement praised Dessers' dedication to improving his game: "He is not 20 years old anymore but he stays hungry to learn all the details and you see in several details he is becoming better and better by doing it and by watching the videos and to talk about it."
If Matondo leaves Rangers, he does so on a high note after contributing significantly in their recent match. The transfer window remains open until Friday, leaving room for potential moves.
