Ruben Amorim is firm that Marcus Rashford's situation isn't affecting Manchester United's focus. He hasn't discussed Rashford's recent remarks about wanting to leave the club. Rashford missed his third consecutive match on Sunday, as United faced a 3-0 defeat against Bournemouth at Old Trafford.
Since his league debut, Rashford has been United's top scorer in the Premier League with 87 goals and 40 assists, totalling 147 goal contributions. Despite this, he has only netted 11 goals in 48 league matches since last season began, drawing criticism under former manager Erik ten Hag.

Amorim insists his decision to exclude Rashford is for the team's benefit. "When I feel that it is the right moment, I will change something. Until then I will continue to think about what is best for the team," Amorim stated regarding Rashford's absence. He communicates with Rashford daily about performance, not interviews.
Rashford expressed readiness for a new challenge after being left out of United's 2-1 win over Manchester City earlier this month. However, Amorim remains confident in his approach. "It's my decision. He wants to play. He is trying. It's my decision, only my decision," Amorim explained.
Amorim believes the situation isn't a distraction for others at Old Trafford. "It's not for me. Not for the other players because everybody is there every day during training, they understand," he said. The media may see it differently, but Amorim stresses clarity in his communication at Carrington.
Rashford might miss another game when United face Wolves on Boxing Day. Historically, United have won seven of their last eight league games against Wolves. However, Wolves are unbeaten in their last seven Boxing Day league matches, securing five wins and two draws.
"I'm trying to do things my way. It's the only way I know... if I don't do that, I will lose myself and I will not lose myself," Amorim added confidently about his management style and decisions regarding Rashford.
