Real Madrid looking to ship out Gareth Bale

New Delhi, Aug 5: Manchester United and Chelsea have both shown an interest in Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale and the European champions reportedly offer the Welshman to the Premier League clubs in a potential £90million transfer.

The Wales international is looking increasingly likely to make way for Kylian Mbappe at the Bernabeu after Zinedine Zidane decided he didn't want four big names competing for three places in his attack.

Initially, it was thought that Karim Benzema would be the one to make way for the French teenage sensation but right now it seems that it would be Real Madrid's club record signing who will make way for the soon to be club-record transfer.

Zidane has been adamant Cristiano Ronaldo would stay at the club despite speculation over his future earlier in the summer, while Karim Benzema is reportedly set to be offered a new contract.

This means Bale is the one who will have to lose his place to Mbappe, with Marca claiming the Spanish giants remain optimistic of completing the signing of the Monaco striker.

Club president Florentino Perez and manager Zidane have come to an agreement over selling Bale, and are asking for £90m for the former Tottenham man as they begin the process of discussing his sale with Premier League clubs.

Manchester United are long-admirers of Bale and tried to sign him on many occasions. While, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is also looking into the situation closely as per reports.

Bale did have a poor season compared to his standards but that was mostly due to his fitness issues. The Welshman lost his place to Isco as he was sidelined by injury but still managed to get shortlisted for the 30-man list for prestigious Ballon d'Or award.

During his second season, he struggled with calf injuries, was jeered by some Real supporters and faced criticism from sections of the Spanish media as Carlo Ancelotti's side failed to win a trophy. We have to wait and see if Bale's time at the Spanish capital club comes to end this summer.
