Real Madrid looking to offload six players in the summer

Bengaluru, March 9: Real Madrid are reportedly planning a mass exodus in the summer as they look to refresh their squad for the upcoming season.

Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly looking to offload as many as six players in the summer and reinvest the money in the transfer market.

Jesus Vallejo, Mariano Díaz, Eden Hazard, Andriy Lunin, Alvaro Odriozola, and Marco Asensio are the six players who look destined to leave Los Blancos in the summer.

Ancelotti is understood to be aware of the fact that Real Madrid are in need of an overhaul. The Spanish capital club look destined to miss out on the La Liga title this season with Barcelona leading the table.

Hence, the Los Blancos are looking to make major changes in the dressing room. Ancelotti has reportedly named six players who he happy to let go this summer.

Vallejo and Hazard have both struggled for minutes this season while Lunin and Odriozola have both been considered as backups for a long time now.

Diaz has not managed to impress since his return from Lyon while Asensio has done well despite having limited opportunities this campaign. Ancelotti likes to do his transfer business in the summer windows and spoke about it earlier this year.

He said: "We didn't dip into the winter market because we didn't need to. If you plan your squad well in summer then you don't need to use the winter market. When you sign in January, it means something has happened, which could be an injury, but we're fine."

Who could Real Madrid sign in Summer window?

Los Blancos have been linked with several top names across Europe in recent weeks. They have been linked with both Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland while Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Rafael Leao are also considered as targets. Jude Bellingham remains a top priority in the middle of the park.

Serge Gnabry has also been linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu. Another Bayern Munich star who has been linked with a move to Real Madrid is Benjamin Pavard. Josko Gvardiol has also been mentioned as a target.

Meanwhile, Ancelotti's own future at the clubs looks up in the air following Los Blancos' poor showings in La Liga. Although, another Champions League success could drastically change the mood of Florentno Perez.
