After the stellar campaign in the 2023-24 season winning UEFA Champions League and La Liga the Spanish giant Real Madrid is ready to take on the fresh challenges of the upcoming season.

Carlo Ancelotti has further strengthened an already very powerful squad with the inclusion of Kylian Mbappe and Endrick. Last season Los Blancos had a rough start of the campaign due to multiple injuries but a dream debut season of Jude Bellingham or brilliant performances by Joselu made the job done.

Though defence could be a problem for the defending champions this season. The injury of David Alaba, loss of Nacho along missing out on Leny Yoro have significantly reduced the alternatives in defence. Despite the issues, it is very unlikely that Ancelotti will go for any big name in defence in this transfer window.

Kylian Mbappe

The 25-year-old French sensation is considered the most lethal and the most complete forward of this generation. It will be his debut season for the Whites after a prolonged transfer drama and how he will fit in the squad is already a puzzle for Ancelotti. Despite that, with his exceptional acceleration, agility, link-up play and creativity he will certainly bolster the Madrid attacks by many times.

Vinicius Junior

For the last three seasons, the Brazilian winger has been immense for Los Blancos. His excellent pace, techniques, and quick movements along with his goal-scoring ability make him a formidable player to face. Despite injury stricken last season the 24-year-old had 20 goals and assists. However, there is a possibility that he might have to change his position in the upcoming season to give the space to Mbappe.

Besides these five players, Real Madrid has a ton of star players who can change the fate of the match single-handedly. Talents like Rodrygo in the right wing, Camavinga and Tchouameni in the defensive midfield and David Alaba and Ferland Mendy in defence are assets for any team in the world.
