Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham following in footsteps of Cristiano Ronaldo but fails on one count

Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has taken a significant step into social media by launching his own YouTube channel, joining the growing trend of high-profile footballers expanding their presence in the digital world.

Bellingham's move comes shortly after Al Nassr icon Cristiano Ronaldo made headlines with the launch of his YouTube channel, 'UR Cristiano.'

Ronaldo's channel, which debuted last month, instantly became a social media sensation, amassing a staggering 57 million subscribers. The Portuguese legend set a new record by reaching one million subscribers in just one hour, a testament to his unparalleled influence in the digital sphere.

Now, Jude Bellingham, one of the brightest young talents in football, appears to be following in Ronaldo's footsteps. The English midfielder, who recently completed a stellar first season with Real Madrid, announced the launch of his YouTube channel with a teaser for his upcoming documentary series, 'Out of the Floodlights.'

This series, set to release four weekly episodes starting from September 12, will provide fans with behind-the-scenes insights into Bellingham's experiences during his debut year in Spain.

Bellingham's first season at Real Madrid was nothing short of remarkable, as he played a pivotal role in helping the team secure both the La Liga title and the UEFA Champions League.

His outstanding performances also earned him a nomination for the prestigious Ballon d'Or, where he is expected to achieve a high ranking among the world's best players.

However, despite the anticipation surrounding his YouTube debut, Bellingham's channel has yet to match the explosive start seen by Ronaldo. While the five-time Ballon d'Or winner reached a million subscribers in just one hour, Bellingham's channel garnered around 100,000 subscribers in the first two hours.

As of the time of writing, his subscriber count has grown to over 256,000-a respectable number but one that falls short of the rapid growth experienced by Portugal's top scorer Ronaldo.
