Real Madrid will be hosting Bayern Munich in the 2nd leg of the UEFA Champions League semifinal on Wednesday (May 8) at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The showpiece encounter is superbly set up after a 2-2 stalemate at the Allianz Arena a week ago, where Vinicius Jr. scored a brace to cancel out the Bayern goals scored by Harry Kane and Leroy Sane.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has unveiled the squad for the match. Thibaut Courtois, having recently returned to the field against Cadiz, is included in the squad.

Despite this, Ancelotti has opted for Andriy Lunin as the starting goalkeeper for the crucial match. Dani Carvajal makes a comeback to the squad following a suspension that kept him out of the first leg in Germany.

Austrian defender David Alaba is not included in the squad as he is currently injured and won't take any part on Wednesday.

The clash between Jude Bellingham and Bayern Munich's Jamal Musiala is anticipated to be a highlight of the match. Both young players have made significant impacts for their respective teams, and their performance in the upcoming game could be decisive. Bellingham, despite a recent dip in form, remains a critical player for Real Madrid.

In the attack, Rodrygo is likely to lead the line for Los Blancos. The Brazilian is their joint highest scorer in the UCL this season with 5 goals. Brahim Diaz and Joselu are also part of the attacking unit while Vinicius Jr. is as always an indispensable part of the squad.
