Recovering Ronaldo raring to play against Barca

Madrid, Nov 13: Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo who is recovering well from his ankel injury has expressed hopes to be back on the field by Nov 29 to fight Barcelona.

"Everything is going very well, I have started running again and I think I will start training with the team next week," the global football icon told Spanish media.

"Of course, I want to play against Barcelona, but I want to play again before then," he added.

Before the 'clasico' match against Barca, Madrid will be playing against Zurich on Nov 25.

Ronaldo injured his right ankle in Sep 2009 while playing against Marseille in the Champions League. The injury worsened on Oct 10 when he played for Portugal.
