Rio Olympics 2016: Usain Bolt reveals his favourite football club

Rio de Janeiro, Aug 16: World record and Olympics record holder at the games and 7 times gold medal winner Usain Bolt revealed that his favourite football team is Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Speaking to Cadena COPE, the Jamaican sprinter said that Cristiano Ronaldo being his favourite footballer, Bolt supports Real Madrid.

He was quoted: "Real Madrid [is my team], of course. I like them because of Cristiano Ronaldo."

Usain Bolt won the seventh Olympic gold medal of his career on August 15th at the Rio Olympics 2016 as he finished the Men's 100m race with a timing of 9.80 seconds.

Speaking about his performance at Rio, Bolt said: "It is very important to me. I feel very proud and very happy.

"It is an honour and I would like to thank everyone for their support, and with your help I can continue to do well."

The Jamaican superstar is yet to compete in the Men's 200m race and 4x100m relay race at the Rio Olympics 2016.

Few years back Usain Bolt was seen at English Premier League Manchester United's stadium Old Trafford.

The club had gifted him an official jersey with his name written behind and specially designed jersey number 9.63 which symbolises his Olympic record in the 100m race in London Olympics 2012.
