Romania and the Netherlands will face each other in the Round of 16 in Euro 2024 at the Munich Football Arena in Munich, Germany on Sunday, July 2 (6 pm CET).

Romania had an incredible run in the qualifying round and managed to top the fiercely competitive Group E surpassing teams like Belgium, Ukraine and Slovakia. • Romania has entered the knock-outs of any major tournament after a long 24 years since Euro 2000.
• Boasting with a strong midfield and defensive line-up the Netherlands have failed to perform up to the mark, winning only one match in Group D and losing to Austria by 3-2. Ronald Koeman will have the service of the full squad, as no player is injured or suspended.
• Cody Gakpo has been the most threatening forward for the Oranje and he will be accompanied by an impressive Memphis Depay. Another forward Wout Weghorst had a history of stepping up his game in the big matches.
