London, Oct. 20: Cristiano Ronaldo will be omitted from the Manchester United squad to face Chelsea on Saturday following his early walkout during Wednesday's win over Tottenham.
As per reports, United is set to fine Ronaldo £1 million. During United's match against Tottenham Hotspurs, Rondaldo was seen walking down the Old Trafford tunnel in the 89th minute. United won the match 2-0. Ronaldo's action saw him draw a lot a backlash.
United manager Erik ten Hag is known to be a tough task master. After Ronaldo had walked off, ten Hag had said, "I will deal with that tomorrow, not today. We are now celebrating this victory."
