Ronaldo, Duran, And Mane Lead Al-Nassr To Victory In AFC Champions League Semi-Final

Al-Nassr secured a spot in the AFC Champions League semi-finals with a commanding 4-1 victory over Yokohama F. Marinos. Key contributions from Ronaldo, Duran, and Mane highlighted their performance.

Al-Nassr triumphed over Yokohama F. Marinos with a 4-1 win, advancing to the AFC Champions League semi-finals. The match took place at Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Sports City Stadium on Saturday. Cristiano Ronaldo, along with former Premier League players Jhon Duran and Sadio Mane, scored for Al-Nassr. Duran netted the first goal just before the 30-minute mark, followed by Mane's quick second.

Ronaldo added to the score by tapping in a rebound from Marcelo Brozovic's saved shot, completing a 12-minute scoring spree. Duran struck again early in the second half, making it 4-0. Yokohama managed to pull one back through Kota Watanabe, but his joy was short-lived as he received a second yellow card and was sent off midway through the half.

Al-Nassr Advances in AFC Champions League

In another match, Al-Ahli also secured their semi-final spot by defeating Buriram United F.C. Roberto Firmino assisted Riyadh Mahrez for an early goal within four minutes. Galeno then increased Al-Ahli's lead before Firmino sealed the victory. This sets up an all-Saudi semi-final against Al-Hilal.

Al-Nassr will face either Kawasaki or Al Sadd in their semi-final clash. The team has reached this stage of the tournament for the third time in its history, having previously done so in 2020 and 2021. Meanwhile, Ronaldo continues his impressive form with seven goals in his last five AFC Champions League matches.

Ronaldo's current scoring streak is his longest in this competition. Only Abderrazak Hamdallah has had a longer streak for Al-Nassr, scoring in eight consecutive matches between August 2019 and September 2020. This achievement highlights Ronaldo's crucial role in Al-Nassr's success this season.

The upcoming semi-finals promise exciting football action as these top teams vie for a place in the final. Fans eagerly await to see if Ronaldo can continue his scoring run and lead Al-Nassr to further glory in the tournament.
