Portugal's national football team, led by Cristiano Ronaldo, is preparing to overturn their Nations League quarter-final deficit against Denmark. Despite a 1-0 loss in the first leg, Ronaldo remains optimistic. Rasmus Hojlund's late goal in Copenhagen put Denmark ahead, but Portugal's captain believes his team can recover. "There's no need to be nervous," he stated, emphasising unity and positive energy.

In the first leg, Portugal struggled offensively with only two shots on target and an expected goals tally of 0.51. Ronaldo acknowledged the tension within the squad but stressed that nerves are not overwhelming them. He noted that technical aspects were lacking and admitted to having played many poor games himself. "That's football," he remarked, highlighting that even experienced players face challenges.
