Cristiano Ronaldo has shifted his focus from breaking individual records to enjoying his remaining time on the field. The 39-year-old scored the decisive goal in Al-Nassr's 2-1 win over Al-Rayyan in the AFC Champions League Group B match. This marked his 904th career goal, having recently surpassed the 900-goal milestone during Portugal's Nations League match against Croatia.
Ronaldo emphasised that his priority is now to contribute to Al-Nassr's success rather than pursuing personal accolades. Under new manager Stefano Pioli, Al-Nassr is on a four-match winning streak across all competitions. Ronaldo stated, "I'm just enjoying playing football now, as I know I don't have much time left on the pitch."

The seasoned player highlighted the importance of teamwork over individual glory. "It is not important anymore whether I am the best or not, I no longer care about that," he said. For him, scoring goals is secondary to helping his team secure victories.
Ronaldo expressed satisfaction with Al-Nassr's performance in their recent match, noting their ability to create opportunities and defend effectively. He remarked on the challenging nature of AFC Champions League games but stressed the importance of teamwork and strategy in securing wins.
Since joining Al-Nassr in December 2022, Ronaldo has netted 71 goals. Last season, he became the top scorer in a single Saudi Pro League season with 35 goals, helping his team finish second behind Al-Hilal.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner reflected on his career achievements but reiterated that he no longer seeks to break records. Instead, his focus remains on supporting Al-Nassr and enjoying his time with teammates.
