Ronaldo says he has silenced his Real Madrid doubters

Madrid (Spain), Sep.17 (ANI): Portuguese winger Cristiano Ronaldo insists he has silenced the doubters by keeping a low profile since his record move to Real Madrid.

The superstar scored twice in Real's 5-2 win in their Champions League opener at FC Zurich to make it four goals in his first three games for the Galacticos, reports The Sun.

He said: "I always knew the goals would come for me, so I was very quiet. The most important thing was to win our first game in Europe and we have achieved that. A lot of people say we're favourites to win the Champions League but there's a long way to go and we have to take it a step at a time." (ANI)
