England's national team has announced that Bukayo Saka from Arsenal and Curtis Jones from Liverpool will not be part of the squad for their upcoming Nations League match against Finland on Sunday. Saka was substituted by Noni Madueke in the 51st minute during England's unexpected 2-1 loss to Greece at Wembley, due to an injury to his right leg.
This injury adds to Mikel Arteta's concerns as Arsenal prepares to face Bournemouth next Saturday. Previously, Martin Odegaard also sustained an injury while playing for Norway. Saka has been in excellent form this Premier League season, scoring twice and providing seven assists in Arsenal's first seven matches.

Saka has been a key player for Arsenal, creating more opportunities (27) than any other player in the league. His nine goal contributions are only surpassed by Chelsea's Cole Palmer with 11 and Manchester City's Erling Haaland with 10.
Lee Carsley will also be without Curtis Jones, who was recently added to the England squad but has now withdrawn due to personal reasons. Jones was initially called up in May as part of Gareth Southgate's provisional 33-man squad for Euro 2024 but did not make the final selection.
The 23-year-old midfielder played a crucial role in England's Under-21 team, which won the 2023 European Under-21 Championship under Carsley's guidance. He scored the decisive goal in their 1-0 victory over Spain in the final.
The absence of these players means that England will proceed with a reduced squad of 22 players for training. Marc Guehi is set to join Lee Carsley for a press conference in Helsinki at 6:30 pm UK time.
