Spain have introduced Samu Omorodion to their senior team following his impressive performances with Porto. The 20-year-old, who played for Spain at the Paris Olympics, has scored 11 goals in as many matches since joining Porto in August 2024. Seven of these goals came in the Primeira Liga, where he averages a goal every 68 minutes.
Barcelona's Marc Casado has also been included in Luis de la Fuente's squad. Casado has excelled in Barcelona's midfield, especially during their injury crisis. He has attempted and completed more passes than any other Barcelona midfielder this season, with a 90.6% success rate.

Spain captain Alvaro Morata remains part of the squad despite a recent head injury during Milan training. Coach De la Fuente assured that Morata is fine. However, Pau Cubarsi is absent due to a facial injury sustained in Barcelona's Champions League match.
De la Fuente praised Omorodion's potential, stating, "At the age of 20, [Omorodion] has football potential. He burst onto the scene in a way that has attracted attention. It's time to give him continuity." On Casado, he added: "It's all thanks to his confidence, commitment and ability. There are very good players who need that kind of demand to shine. He is ready, but he still has room for improvement."
The Spanish team is already through to the quarter-finals of the Nations League but aims to secure the top spot in their group. They will play against Denmark on November 15 and conclude their group stage against Switzerland three days later.
The complete Spain squad includes: David Raya (Arsenal), Alex Remiro (Real Sociedad), Robert Sanchez (Chelsea), Pedro Porro (Tottenham), Oscar Mingueza (Celta Vigo), Daniel Vivian (Athletic Bilbao), Aymeric Laporte (Al-Nassr), Pau Torres (Aston Villa), Marc Cucurella (Chelsea), Alex Grimaldo (Bayer Leverkusen), Aitor Paredes (Athletic Bilbao), Mikel Merino (Arsenal), Martin Zubimendi (Real Sociedad), Fabian Ruiz (PSG), Pedri (Barcelona), Dani Olmo (Barcelona), Alex Baena (Villarreal), Marc Casado (Barcelona).
The forward line features Alvaro Morata from Milan and Lamine Yamal from Barcelona among others like Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao and Yeremy Pino from Villarreal. Other notable inclusions are Mikel Oyarzabal from Real Sociedad and Ayoze Perez from Villarreal.
Samu Omorodion joins Bryan Zaragoza from Osasuna as part of the attacking options for Spain's upcoming matches.
