Saudi Club submits world record Rs 2719.48 crore bid for Kylian Mbappe

Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal have submitted a world record £259 million bid for Paris St Germain forward Kylian Mbappe, according to multiple reports.

Mbappe's future in Paris is in serious doubt after the 24-year-old was left out of the club's pre-season tour of Japan.

Mbappe decided to not renew his contract at the French club, which expires in 2024. PSG are said to be keen in offloading him this summer and Saudi club Al Hilal are in for him.

Al Hilal have submitted a bid in writing for the player, and is willing to pay 259 million pounds to PSG for the France international, which is a whopping Rs 2719.48 crore in Indian currency.

Reports also claim that the 24-year-old forward will earn around £600 million in salary for a year and then Al Hilal would let him join Real Madrid on a free transfer. A move to Real Madrid is Mbappe's biggest dream, and it is understood the player has personal terms agreed with the Spanish giants.

Sources close to the French club say there has also been interest in the player from other clubs in recent days, including Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham, Inter Milan and Barcelona.

If Al Hilal manages to lure Mbappe away to Saudi, that will be the biggest transfer ever in football's history.
