SBT enters Kerala Football League final

Kozhikode, May 5 (UNI) The State Bank of Travancore (SBT), Thiruvananthapuram entered the Kerala State Premier Football League final beating Titanium Trivandrum 3-1 here today.

Renil C J opened the account for SBT through a header from a corner kick in the third minute.

Jacken Sebastian gave an equaliser for Titanium by converting a penalty kick into a goal in the begining of the second half.

But within a couple of minutes Mohammed Arif scored a goal from a corner kick, raising the SBT's tally.

Further SBT's Abdul Naushad increased the score to 3-1 by converting a penalty kick in the 90th minute.

Defending champion Viva Kerala will face Central Excise in the second semifinal tomorrow.
